Audiovisual Students Jury

In this second edition of Audiovisual Students Jury, we opened call for students of several schools – universities or not – to take part in a group that will watch, discuss and choose the highlights of the 9th Semana Film Festival, according with their view.

Pedro Rena

Graduating at the 7th period Federal University of Minas Gerais State in Letters course with study in Cinema in Social Comunication course. At the time developing a scientific initiation called Narratives of violence: Brazil from near and inside. Work as assistant director at the Anavilhana Filmes Production. He was an extensionist of forumdoc.ufmg and a member of the Fafich Cineclube. He acts as a camera assistant, having recently worked for the new filmmaker Éder Santos.

Bia Praça

Born on January 21, 1997. She is attending the 5th period in Cinema e Audiovisual at Universidade Federal Fluminense and has been investigating the dialogue that cinema can establish with education and visual arts, as well as being developing processes at writing cinematographic criticism.

Milena Manfredini

Born on 1992, is granddaughter of Dona Delminda, daughter of Bahia de São Salvador, but from Nova Iguaçu by birth. She is a Anthropology student, with emphasis on Anthropology of Art and Culture at PUC-RIO. She studies filmmaking at Darcy Ribeiro Film School and in her works she has sought to dialogue with visual anthropology, literature, visual arts, and issues of race and gender. She directed "I Need These Words Written" (2017) about the artist Arthur Bispo do Rosário. She is a member of Coletivo Nuvem Negra.
